Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

• You must comply with all applicable rules and policies issued by Bohemia Interactive, DayZ, Steam, Discord, Twitch, YouTube, Kick, and any other connected platform.
• You must be at least 18 years old or meet the legal age requirements within your region to access mature online content.

2. Server Access

• Access to Operation: Exile is a privilege, not a right.
• Staff reserve the right to suspend access, revoke whitelist status, remove players, restrict services, or deny applications at any time, with or without notice.
• Paid application review services do not guarantee whitelist approval.

3. Player Conduct

You agree to:

• Follow all server rules and community guidelines.
• Roleplay and interact in good faith.
• Avoid exploiting bugs, glitches, unintended mechanics, or loopholes.
• Not use cheats, scripts, ESP, radar, macros, dupes, external tools, or modified clients that provide unfair advantages.
• Respect staff decisions and moderation actions.
• Not harass, threaten, discriminate against, or abuse other players or staff members.

4. Enforcement

• Staff decisions are final.
• Punishments may include warnings, kicks, temporary bans, permanent bans, character wipes, base removals, or economy resets.
• Appeals may be reviewed at staff discretion and are not guaranteed.

5. Accounts & Data

• Certain information may be logged for moderation and security purposes, including Steam identifiers, IP addresses, Discord IDs, connection logs, and gameplay logs.
• We do not guarantee persistence of characters, bases, vehicles, inventory, currency, progression, storage, or database data.
• Server wipes, rollbacks, crashes, or data loss may occur without compensation.

6. Donations & Monetization

Operation: Exile may accept donations or offer paid services in accordance with Bohemia Interactive DayZ Monetization Rules.

• Donations are voluntary.
• Donations do not grant gameplay advantages.
• No purchasable items, weapons, gear, vehicles, combat bonuses, or gameplay-enhancing features are sold.
• Paid whitelist review services only accelerate application processing and do not guarantee approval.
• Priority support services only affect support response times and do not impact gameplay.
• All payments, donations, and digital services are considered non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

7. Availability

• The Server is provided “as is.”
• We do not guarantee uptime, stability, performance, progression persistence, or uninterrupted access.
• Operation: Exile may be modified, suspended, reset, wiped, or permanently shut down at any time without notice.

8. Content & Media

• Gameplay, voice communications, text chat, screenshots, and footage may be recorded or streamed for moderation, promotional, security, archival, or evidential purposes.
• By participating in the community, you grant Operation: Exile permission to use related media content without compensation.

9. Community Platforms

By using Operation: Exile community services, including Discord and the website, you agree not to:

• Distribute malware.
• Attempt unauthorized access.
• Spam, impersonate staff, disrupt infrastructure, or abuse automated systems.
• Attack, disrupt, DDoS, or interfere with Operation: Exile infrastructure.

10. Intellectual Property

Operation: Exile is an independent DayZ community project.

All original branding, lore, writing, graphics, systems, and website content created specifically for Operation: Exile remain the property of the Operation: Exile team unless otherwise stated.

11. Bohemia Interactive Disclaimer

Operation: Exile is an independent DayZ community server operated using Bohemia Interactive products and services.

Operation: Exile is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with Bohemia Interactive.

DayZ®, Bohemia Interactive®, and related trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Use of these names is for identification purposes only and does not imply endorsement.

12. Changes to Terms

• These Terms of Service may be updated, modified, or replaced at any time without prior notice.
• Continued use of Operation: Exile after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
